afternoonsnoozebutton: “Tonight I am proposing that every state require that students stay in school until they graduate or turn 18.” Or, perhaps, we could get over this fucked up notion that our bullshit facade of an education system somehow enables and empowers one to be a worthwhile employee. The only valid selling point someone with a GED may offer is the ability to take orders and conform to a bureaucratic system without questioning  or challenging the status quo.  Then again, sounds like the perfect sheeple creation system. Oh Huxley, Orwell, Bradbury, Vonnegut, Rand, oh sweet et.cetera.

Oh how the impulse grinds at me to reblog a post of soliders with shaved heads for a little girl with cancer. All of the naive patriotism about all of the great things our soliders do for us in the comment thread makes me cringe while repeatedly vomitting in my mouth and swallowing it as punishment and reminder for the sheep I exist among.

The only thing stopping me is a young girl with cancer. Somehow though I feel she would be better off without the government fucking everything up. Just a hunch.

Complete fucking bullshit. They should not be anywhere and have not needed to do much of anything for us since world war 2. We just can’t seem to mind our own business and worry about our own sham of a country propped up by nothing but blind patriotism and governmental sleight of hand.

opportunity != entitlement.

America, in all of her fucked up corporatistm, red tape mazes, and hold your hand follow the leader brain washing, is still a land of great opportunity. Unfortunately somewhere along the way the definition for opportunity was confused with that of entitlement.
